Danielle Iluz, one of my earliest and most loyal clients, reached out to design a unique engagement ring featuring a ruby stone. The process became quite complex, as sourcing a raw ruby with a marquise or geometric cut proved challenging. I imported completely raw rubies from abroad and had them specially cut in Israel, resulting in this stunning central stone. Sharp-eyed observers will notice a small red heart hidden within the stone.

Danielle wanted the ring to have a unique geometric character, so I set it with high-quality natural white diamonds on the sides, featuring triangular and tapered cuts. The ring was cast in polished 14K yellow gold for a luxurious finish.

• Central Stone: Ruby, 1.7 carats
• Side Diamonds:
  • Tapered cut, 0.15 carats each
  • Triangular cut, 0.08 carats each
  • Clarity and color: F/VVS
  • V-prong setting
